My name - Deepthi - is pronounced as “thee-p-tee.” Also, it means “light” in Hindi (दीप्ति).
Born and raised in India, I spent 25 years there before moving to the US to pursue my master’s degree in experience design at Northeastern University. Currently, working at Seed Consulting Group as a senior design strategist.

My Journey in Design
College
I got into fashion and communication design
My first design interest was fashion and graphic design. I was fascinated by all the different ways people interact with a fabric, a visual, and a space.
Work
Early days in user experience design
I joined Deloitte and spent over 3 years focusing on human-centered design, working across various industries to solve business problems by understanding stakeholder relationships, user needs, and designing impactful solutions.

Back to learning
Went to Northeastern, where I learned how to connect complex technologies with human experiences to create accessible and immersive solutions.
Now
Still going strong!
Thus far, I’ve worked at Deloitte, Schneider Electric, and other wonderful companies as a ui/ux designer/intern.
